Lawn Party poll

The fire fighter’s parade is number 1. ( Not able to make anything work on the opinion pole.) I also liked the antique car show and parade and the steam and gas engines in that order. The Lawn Party has always been great.

The lawn party is such a tradition that I just love all of it. I just love hearing the “toots” of the steam engines during the week. I know they have curbed that quite a bit because of the houses around the grounds. I guess not everyone loves it and grew up with it. I remember gathering pop bottles for free drinks; then as I got older working in the crazy ball stand with my husband to be… Now the cake walk is where I’ll be with my Mom and kids! I think my Mom baked 11 cakes. Come by and lay your quarter down!

like va gal i just love all of it. and the fact that it happens and then goes away. having bridgewater like that is just great for one week a year. also regarding the poll. i think that software is restrictive about letting people vote twice. it just shows results and doesnt allow additional votes if someone from your ip address has voted. and given the way comcast handles ip addresses it could well prevent large numbers of comcast subscribers after the first one has voted.

I did the poll - that was cool! When I hit vote - the latest “graph” came up. Like me - most like the parade.

I had no problem doing the poll. I have to admit I love the food and the lemonade.. My husband will go to the lawnparty every night to get food even if we do not go for the evening.. our sons love the rides and games.. we spend a lot of money every year but it is for a great cause..

I had no problem voting and the graph came up showing what had the most votes, etc. It doesn’t look like I will be able to make the Lawn Party this yr. and it upsets me. I love coming to the Fireman’s Parade, the Antique Car Parade and seeing the old steam engines. I have yet to get a ride on the steam engine, but I am usually lucky enough to get a tractor ride each yr.
