Fall Yard Sale September 27

I see that you have two FALL YARD SALE DAYS listed. Could you please tell me if the listed date is valid and if so is there usually a good turn out?

The correct date is Saturday, September 27. (Another date had been listed in error through an incorrect calendar feed that has since been corrected.) I’ll estimate that the turnout in my neighborhood is about 40 percent lower than the huge spring yard sale turnout — but that’s just a guess, and I’d like to invite all our Bridgewater Buzz regulars to chime in with estimates from their neighborhoods.

The fall version of the Valley’s best yard sale is never as big as the spring sale, but there are bargains to be had. The Town’s official notice says: “Please submit addresses to the town by the close of business Friday, September 19, 2008.
