what do you think about the chances of creigh deeds in that democratic primary. he is from our part of the state. and seems like a good guy. but can he win a primary when the other candidates have all the money. especially mcauliffe. here is a link to a poll on the primary. http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2009/05/deeds-with-momentum-mcauliffe-with-lead.html

Deeds is the real deal. I think he’ll have the best chance against the Republicans in November. If nominated, he would run better down-state than McAuliffe (too much Clinton association) and Moran (too Northern Virginia). Then, in Northern Virginia any Democrat will run well. If the Democrats are smart enough to nominate Deeds, they can make it three in a row.
