Gas Prices…
I see the prices of gas are going back up, just like last year. Only reason I can see is warm weather is here, and the company’s know they can charge a higher amount because people tend to get out more after being cooped up all winter. I know the it’s not the store’s fault that sells the gasoline, it’s a ripple effect. Shame on the companies that sell to the stores! Guess their pocketbooks aren’t fat enough quite yet!

“Shame on the companies that sell to the stores!”
Yes, Exxon-Mobil made an extortionate profit of 7 percent on sales in the first quarter! They may be up to 10 percent by now! Let’s go confiscate their profits! Surely President Obama can nationalize the oil companies and cure this problem.
(If you want to do the math, go to http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090430/ap_on_bi_ge/us_earns_exxon_mobil. Profit of $4.6 billion on revenues of $64 billion = ~7 percent.)

Maybe we wouldn’t be in this situation if the Bush administration hadn’t let all those oil mergers through.

I find it interesting that everyone needs to put a name to issues. The problem isn’t Obama, Bush, Clinton,Reagan or anyone President. The problem is us…we have passively stood by while the Government exceeded its authority (read that Congress) and taken over our lives. We are so caught up in blaming the other party for our problems that we fail to see the real culprits. The US Congress. We need to wake up to that fact.
A government large enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything (freedoms) away.

It’s Bush’s fault.
