Since we are on the topic of Snow and Weather
I would like to once again kindly remind and encourage everyone to check out www.mountcrawfordweather.org for your local winter weather conditions, in the cold and snowy season to come. The Mountcrawtfordweather.org conditions are updated every 5 minutes on the main page and every 30 seconds on the Area Live Conditions page. The conditions are recorded only 3 miles from North Main Street (Downtown Bridgewater). And best of all it’s free.
Some improvements on the site that have been made over the last year or so include, improved rain gauge resolution, an “out the window” webcam view with time lapse feature, an “All Time” historical data record of past conditions, Hurricane/Tropical Storm forecasting…. And just recently added a few months ago, a Soil Temperature Probe. So perhaps the next time we get some frozen precipitation on the ground, you will be able to tell how long it is going to stick around.
Those folks that currently live along Dinkle Avenue and Old Bridgewater Road may also find the site of particular use.
Please feel free to submit your comments to the Mountcrawfordweather.org guestbook, blog, or email, on any improvements, you would like to see.
