Because of the snow, Turner Ashby’s presentation of Les Misérables has been rescheduled for February 26-27-28 and March 1. (Your webmaster looked in on rehearsal today and the kids were showing a lot of energy and hard work.) I’d just like to encourage locals to support TA’s theater program by coming out for this one.

I’d just like to note two things about AT&T wireless service in the Bridgewater area:

1. They have great coverage from that antenna they placed on the Bridgewater College smokestack.

2. A local sales associate was very helpful to me today — didn’t get his name — but he waived a fee that easily could have been charged for a service change.

Far from the grapevine as I am, I can’t claim much originality for this rumor, but here it is and totally unconfirmed: Best Buy will be opening a location in Harrisonburg Crossing (in the space formerly occupied by Circuit City).

I just wanted to send a reminder to everyone that has a pet that lives outdoors…please check on the animal often and bring indoors if possible. If not, be sure to provide fresh water and food, as water will freeze and food will be covered in snow. Put straw/blankets/clothing (whatever you have available) in the box to provide warmth. Animals can’t speak for themselves so we must be their voice.
