People need to lighten up. It’s just a restaurant and they have the right to run it whichever way they choose to maximize profit. I wish the owners the best of luck and I’m looking forward to trying it out. I judge a restaurant on their quality of food, not appearance of the waitstaff. A plus will be that I won’t have to bribe or coerce my husband into going with me.

It’s just a restaurant, for crying out loud. The world didn’t come to an end because of Hooters and Harrisonburg will survive Tilted Kilt. If you don’t like it, don’t go. Society needs to stop being so politically correct. Lighten up and stop taking everything so seriously.

“Disarming” may be too strong a word. In the article you link to, it says: “This does not require an absolute ban on firearms. In the post-repeal world that we envision, some people will possess guns: hunters and sportsmen, law enforcement officers, the military, those who require firearms for morally reasonable purposes.” And that’s from someone who wants to repeal the Second Amendment. There are sensible measures, like the universal background checks defeated in the Senate, that thoughtful people believe are consistent with the Second Amendment.

Mousie you are correct. Article in DNR last week or so said Wild Woods is going to still sell their BBQ out of the clubhouse at Heritage Oaks Golf Course. The Bridgewater location is closing and dividing the space into 2 businesses.

as i understand it the space is being cut into two businesses during the remodeling. one will be a takeout supper place. and the other business will be a chiropractic clinic. somebody jump in and correct me if i am wrong about that.

The lady who owns and operates the bakery had been ill and was unable to work full-time. I noticed she started out with limited hours of operation and taking special orders only. It seems that she has recovered enough to be open regular hours now, which is great. I wish her the best. I have yet to stop in, but that’s only because I’ve been watching my calories and I can only assume a bakery is not the place for me.
