New construction on Main Street

May 06, 2010 By: tink Category: Buzz

Does anybody know what the new building being built next to Exxon is going to be? I don’t see any signs that say and it’s going up pretty quick. So much new building going on in Bridgewater these days.

crazy place

I have to stop watching the news…..

Arizona passes a law which mimics the federal Law, which is not enforced, making it illegal to be in the country illegally. Now the illegals are protesting and demanding the “right” to continue to break the law.

California, the socialist loony bin by the sea, wants to make Arizona repeal the law by boycotting contracts with them. How will that work, California is nearly bankrupt from paying for all their entitlement programs. I guess they will threaten to not send the money they don’t have.

The Feds have now acknowledged that our health insurance premiums will increase due to the health care take over. They have also acknowledged (Sen. Warner, D., Va) that they will have to re-address the bill to find a way to pay for it. Who didn’t see that coming.

The Senate is debating new controls over the banking industry. Of course, this will increase their control over the rest of us too. Wonder why they don’t acknowledge their role in the financial meltdown. Who gets to write rules for Congress’ foolishness.

Wait for the VAT (Value added tax). A national sales tax that will affect us all. The spin on how that isn’t a tax on people making less than $250,000 will be classic.

The 250,000 patriots that died in the Revolutionary War making America free of oppression and government control of their lives, must be turning over in their graves. In a few hundred years, we have allowed the Republic to become a socialist entity that is more controlling than England ever was.

It just keeps getting crazier and crazier.

Town Council

April 26, 2010 By: steve Category: Buzz

Is anyone concerned that the same 3 council members will be running again this year? Last election 1 new person ran and did better than expected although unfortunately he ran against 3 incumbents who have been there forever. Wouldn’t it be nice to have new blood on occasion??
